What Do We Use in Our Mouldings & Why?
Steel nails
- Strength and Durability: Steel nails are strong and durable, which makes them ideal for securing concrete moldings in place. Concrete can be heavy, and it exerts a significant amount of force on the fasteners used to hold it in position. Steel nails are able to withstand this force and provide long-lasting support.
2. Corrosion Resistance: Steel nails are often coated with materials like galvanized zinc to enhance their resistance to corrosion. This is important when dealing with concrete, as it contains moisture that can cause rusting and deterioration of regular nails. Corrosion-resistant steel nails can maintain their integrity over time.
Binding wire
- Reinforcement: Concrete is a strong material in compression but relatively weak in tension. To enhance its tensile strength and prevent cracking, reinforcement is often added. Binding wire is used to tie together and secure the steel nails in the desired configuration within the concrete mold. This reinforcement helps the concrete withstand tensile forces and maintain its structural integrity.
2. Structural Stability: Binding wire ensures that the reinforcement remains in its intended position during the pouring and curing of moulding concrete. This prevents the steel nails from shifting or sagging, which could lead to uneven distribution of strength within the concrete structure. Properly placed and secured steel nails contributes to the structural stability and load-bearing capacity of the moulding concrete.
Fine sand & cement
1.Surface Finish: Fine sand can contribute to achieving a smoother and more aesthetically pleasing surface finish in concrete. When used in exposed aggregate or decorative concrete applications, fine sand helps create a finer texture and a more uniform appearance.
2. Reduced Water Demand: The addition of fine sand can reduce the water demand of a concrete mix during the curing process. This is important because excessive water can weaken the concrete and reduce its long-term durability. By using fine sand, you can achieve the desired consistency with less water, resulting in a stronger moulding.

Conversely, Prezzo Logistic Mouldings is a unique mouldings company that solely uses concrete (fine sand & cement) in mouldings. We use concrete because we understands that mouldings made from sand and cement offer a unique set of characteristics and advantages when compared to those created using fiber materials. These advantages include durability, high density/resistance to damage, fire resistance, customization, and environmental considerations among others.
At our moulding worksite, we prioritize and maintain a high level of tidiness throughout the entire project to ensure a clean and organized working environment, and mostly, to maintain the cleanliness we found at the site, and preferably, leave the site cleaner than we found. We use polythene papers to protect other parts of the building/structure from dirt/concrete splash. We cover the roof, windows, walls, and any other parts to avoid 
To ensure timeliness, we create a detailed project schedule that outlines the sequence of tasks and their estimated durations. We work extra harder and in late hours to ensure we complete our moulding project within the stipulated time, and also to ensure we do not go against the client’s timeline.
